COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBM (MSc) in Digital Transformation at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured over two years and combines business management, digital innovation, and practical industry experience. In Year 1, Semester 1, students build a strong academic foundation through modules such as Globalisation, Society & Culture, Marketing Management, Research Methods Introduction for the Final Project, and Micro & Macroeconomics from global perspectives. They also study Data Analytics & Visualisation, Professional Inquiry, and Digital Disruption & Strategy, which provide insights into emerging technologies and their impact on business operations. In Year 1, Semester 2, the program focuses on more advanced and specialised subjects including Research Methods for the Final Project, Digital Innovation & Business Transformation, The World Economy, Digital Security & Crisis Management, and Financial & Strategic Management. Students also participate in a Project Module consisting of three project weeks linked to the Final Project, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts to real-world business challenges. In Year 2, students undertake Professional-Based Learning, gaining practical industry experience while enhancing their professional and leadership skills. The program concludes with a Final Project, where students conduct in-depth research and demonstrate their ability to solve complex digital and business-related problems, preparing them for leadership roles in digital transformation and innovation.
