COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBM (MSc) in Data Analytics at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured over two years and combines academic learning with practical industry experience. In Year 1, Semester 1, students study core modules such as Globalisation, Society & Culture, Marketing Management, Research Methods Introduction, Micro and Macroeconomics from global perspectives, Data Analytics & Visualisation, Professional Inquiry, and Data Structures & Algorithms. These subjects build a strong foundation in business, economics, and technical analytical skills. In Year 1, Semester 2, the program advances into more specialised topics including Research Methods for the Final Project, Artificial Intelligence in Business, The World Economy, Machine Learning, and Financial & Strategic Management. Students also participate in a Project Module consisting of three project weeks linked to the Final Project, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business challenges. In Year 2, students engage in Professional-Based Learning, gaining valuable practical experience in a professional environment while further developing their skills. The program concludes with a Final Project, where students conduct in-depth research and demonstrate their ability to solve complex business and data-related problems. This structure ensures graduates are well-prepared for leadership roles in data analytics and business management.
