COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBM (MSc) in Clean Tech at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured over three semesters, combining core business studies with specialised clean technology modules and practical learning. In Semester 1, students build a strong foundation through core modules such as Marketing Management, Globalisation, Society & Culture, Research Methods Introduction for the Final Project, The World Economy, and Professional Inquiry. Alongside these, students study specialisation modules including Renewable Energy: Solar, Wind, and Hydro, as well as Energy Conversion Technologies, which provide technical knowledge of sustainable energy systems. In Semester 2, the program continues with core subjects such as Research Methods for the Final Project, Micro Economics from a global perspective, Strategic Management, and a Project Module consisting of three project weeks linked to the Final Project. Students also deepen their expertise through specialised modules like Smart Grids and Zero-Energy Buildings & Energy Transition, focusing on modern energy infrastructure and sustainable building solutions. Semester 3 is dedicated to Work Placement and Graduation, where students undertake Professional-Based Learning to gain practical industry experience and apply their knowledge in real-world settings. The program concludes with a Final Project, allowing students to demonstrate their research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities in the field of clean technology and sustainable business management.
