COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Smart Industry at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format, allowing students to study two modules every six weeks in highly international and interdisciplinary classrooms. With six entry points each year, the program offers flexibility and a dynamic learning experience for both full-time and part-time students. Each module includes six teaching days divided into two blocks of three days and is taught through lectures, tutorials, case studies, presentations, live projects, and guest speaker sessions from industry professionals. Semester 1 focuses on six core MBA subjects, each worth 5 European Credits, including Management Accounting & Finance, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, International Management, and Information Management. These modules develop essential business, leadership, and analytical skills through reflective learning, where students connect academic knowledge to their professional experiences. Semester 2 builds on this foundation with specialised Smart Industry modules such as Artificial Intelligence in Business, Business Statistics, New Smart Economy, Cyber Security in Integrated Autonomous Business Operations, and Strategic Management. These subjects provide students with advanced knowledge of emerging technologies, digital business models, and innovation-driven strategies. During Semester 2, students also complete nine sessions on Quantitative and Qualitative Research Techniques to prepare for their Final Project Proposal. Overall, the program combines business fundamentals, technological expertise, and practical application to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the future of smart and digital industries.
