COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Nursing at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format designed for focused and flexible learning. Students study two modules every six weeks, with each module taught over six days split into two blocks of three consecutive days. Core classes are interdisciplinary, allowing students to study alongside master’s students from different business management specialisations in a highly international and diverse environment due to six rolling intakes each year. The program uses interactive teaching methods such as lectures, tutorials, case studies, presentations, group work, and live projects. Each module is often taught by two lecturers, including full-time Wittenborg faculty and guest lecturers from partner universities, with regular guest speakers from industry. In Semester 1, students build a strong foundation in business and management through modules such as Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. In Semester 2, students focus on specialised healthcare and nursing subjects including Nursing Informatics, which explores healthcare technology and data management; Enabling Leadership in Healthcare; Business Statistics; Strategic Management; Advanced Nursing Practice Management; and Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship. Throughout the program, students also study Research Methods and complete three project weeks leading to the Final Project. This structure equips graduates with leadership, analytical, and healthcare management skills needed to improve patient care and lead innovation in healthcare organisations.
