COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in International Management at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is structured into three phases across three semesters and can be completed full-time in 18 months or part-time in 24 to 36 months. In Semester 1, students study core MBA modules including Management Accounting and Finance, Marketing Management, Research Methods Introduction, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. These subjects are taught through reflective learning, encouraging students to connect academic theory with prior or current work experience while developing critical thinking, self-awareness, and analytical skills. In Semester 2, students deepen their knowledge in globalisation and strategic management through modules such as Globalisation, Society and Culture, International Corporate Sustainability, Business Statistics, Strategic Management, International Consultancy, and Research Methods for the Final Project. These modules provide an interdisciplinary approach and prepare students for research and data analysis in business and social contexts. Throughout Semesters 1 and 2, students work on a Personal Development Plan portfolio and participate in three project weeks, where teams complete consultancy projects for regional organisations under tutor guidance. Semester 3 is fully dedicated to the Final Project, where students complete an in-depth research project, often in collaboration with a company or non-profit organisation, combining theory, research, and practical application for real-world business challenges.
