COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Hospitality at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format designed for focused and flexible learning. Students study two modules every six weeks, with each module taught over six days split into two blocks of three consecutive days. In the first semester, students attend interdisciplinary classes with MBA students from different specialisations, creating a highly international and diverse learning environment due to six rolling intakes each year. The program uses interactive teaching methods such as lectures, tutorials, presentations, group work, case studies, and live projects. Each module is often taught by two lecturers, including Wittenborg faculty and guest lecturers from partner universities, with regular industry guest speakers providing practical insights. Semester 1 focuses on core business and management subjects including Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. In Semester 2, students specialise in hospitality-focused subjects such as Critical Perspectives in Hospitality Management, International Hospitality Development, Hospitality Operational Excellence, Globalisation, Society and Culture, Business Statistics, and Strategic Management. These modules help students understand international hospitality trends, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. Throughout the program, students also study Research Methods and complete three project weeks leading to the Final Project. This structure equips graduates with leadership, analytical, and management skills needed for successful careers in the global hospitality and tourism industry.
