COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Health and Social Care at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format that provides focused and flexible learning for students from around the world. Students study two modules every six weeks, with each module taught over six days split into two blocks of three consecutive days. In the first semester, students attend interdisciplinary classes with MBA students from different specialisations, creating a diverse and international learning environment due to the six rolling intakes each year. Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, presentations, case studies, group work, and live projects, with a strong focus on interactive learning. Modules are often taught by two lecturers, including Wittenborg faculty and guest lecturers from partner universities, along with regular industry guest speakers. Semester 1 covers essential management subjects such as Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. In Semester 2, students move into specialised healthcare-focused modules including Advancing Professional Decision Making, Enabling Leadership in Health Care, Strategy Health Care Management, Business Statistics, and Strategic Management. Throughout the program, students also study Research Methods and complete three project weeks leading to the Final Project. This structure equips graduates with strong business, leadership, and healthcare management skills for professional roles in the health and social care sector.
