COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Finance at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format that offers focused and flexible learning for students from around the world. Students study two modules every six weeks, with each module taught over six days divided into two blocks of three consecutive days. In the first semester, students attend interdisciplinary classes with MBA students from different specialisations, creating a dynamic, highly international, and diverse learning environment due to six rolling intakes each year. Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, presentations, group work, case studies, and live projects, with a strong focus on interactive learning. Modules are often taught by two lecturers, including Wittenborg faculty and guest lecturers from partner universities, along with regular guest speakers from industry. Semester 1 provides a strong foundation in business and management through modules such as Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Business Operations, International Management, and Information Management. In Semester 2, students focus on specialised finance subjects including Corporate Finance, Financial and Monetary Economics, Business Statistics, Venture Capital and Private Equity, and Strategic Management. Throughout the program, students also study Research Methods and complete three project weeks leading to the Final Project. This structure equips graduates with strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills for careers in banking, investment, and corporate finance management.
