COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Education at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format designed for focused and flexible learning. Students study two modules every six weeks, with each module taught over six days split into two blocks of three consecutive days. The program uses interactive teaching methods such as lectures, tutorials, group work, case studies, presentations, and live projects to create an engaging learning environment. Each module is often taught by two lecturers, including full-time Wittenborg faculty and guest lecturers from partner universities, while regular industry guest speakers provide practical insights. In Semester 1, students build a strong foundation in business and management through modules such as Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. These subjects develop essential leadership and operational skills. In Semester 2, students focus on education-specific modules including Critical Perspectives in Education, which explores modern educational issues; Action Learning through Enquiry, which develops practical problem-solving skills; Leadership and Management in Education; and Change Management with a focus on new teaching and learning approaches. Students also study Business Statistics and Strategic Management. Throughout the program, students complete Research Methods and three project weeks leading to the Final Project. Overall, the program prepares education professionals for leadership and management roles in modern educational institutions.
