COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Clean Technology at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is delivered in an intensive block format that offers focused and flexible learning. Students study two modules every six weeks, with each module taught over six days divided into two blocks of three consecutive days. In Semester 1, students complete six core MBA modules worth five European Credits each, covering Human Resource Management, Management Accounting and Finance, Marketing Management, Operations Management, International Management, and Information Management. These modules provide a strong foundation in business administration and use reflective learning to help students connect academic concepts with prior or current work experience. Reflective learning develops critical thinking, self-awareness, and analytical skills. Guest speakers also deliver seminars during assignment and literature review weeks. Students must complete all Semester 1 modules before progressing to Semester 2. In Semester 2, students study Strategic Management along with specialist modules in the Energy and Clean Technology pathway. These include Business Statistics, Smart Grids, Renewable Energy covering Solar, Wind, and Hydro, and Zero-Energy Buildings and Energy Transition. These subjects provide specialised knowledge in sustainable energy systems and environmental innovation. During Semester 2, students also attend nine sessions on Quantitative and Qualitative Research Techniques to prepare for their Final Project Proposal. Overall, the program combines business leadership with expertise in clean and renewable technologies.
