COURSE CURRICULUM

The Entrepreneurship and FinTech program is designed to give students a deep understanding of entrepreneurship while developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become real entrepreneurs. It prepares students to start their own businesses during their final year of study by combining theoretical learning with practical application. Core modules include Opportunity and Lead Creation, Entrepreneurial Behaviour, Business Start-ups and Business Plans, Bootstrapping and Raising Finance, and Sales Pipeline Management. Students specialising in FinTech complete six focused modules that explore the role of financial technology in small and medium-sized businesses, including the use of big data, online platforms, and digital financial solutions. These studies are combined with business and marketing plans, work experience, and graduation assignments centred on FinTech in the digital economy. The program is structured into three phases. Phase 1 focuses on theory, where students study general business and management concepts in mixed groups while applying their specialisation in coursework. Phase 2 shifts from theory to planning, focusing on specialised modules, case studies, and the development of business and marketing plans. Phase 3 focuses on strategy and practice, where students complete advanced modules, work placements, and their dissertation, while also testing and launching their business ideas. Overall, the program prepares students to become innovative entrepreneurs in the growing FinTech sector.
