COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business Administration (MCI) pathway with a specialisation in Business Analytics is designed to develop the skills and competencies required for professionals working in communications or ICT departments within organisations. It prepares students to become analysts who can support decision-making processes by using data effectively in business contexts. Alongside core MCI subjects such as Mass Communication, Public Relations, and Company Branding, students study specialised modules focused on Business Analytics. These include Introduction to Data Management and Processing, which teaches how to collect, organise, and handle data efficiently, and Managing and Visualising Data, which focuses on presenting data in clear and meaningful ways for business use. In the final year of the program, students build on their foundational knowledge with more advanced and strategic subjects. These include Modelling for Business Analytics, where students learn how to create analytical models to solve business problems, and Predictive Analytics, which focuses on using data to forecast trends and support future planning. Overall, the program equips students with a strong combination of communication, marketing, and analytical skills. This enables graduates to understand how data influences business strategy, improve organisational performance, and contribute effectively to digital and data-driven decision-making in modern companies and organisations.
