COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hotel and Event Management bachelor’s program focuses on the hospitality and events industry while also developing strong management and entrepreneurial skills. The curriculum combines hotel management and event management, giving students a broad understanding of how hospitality businesses and large events operate. Students also take modules related to professional development and practice-oriented research to strengthen both their academic knowledge and practical abilities. Throughout the program, students attend inspiring masterclasses, participate in an international study trip, and complete internships with well-known companies, gaining valuable real-world experience. During the four-year program, students can also choose a minor to broaden or deepen their knowledge in a specific area of interest. In the hotel management component, students learn about hospitality operations, hotel management practices, and service excellence, including practical aspects such as food service and facility management. The event management part of the program teaches students how to plan and organise a wide range of events, from business conferences to large public events, while also giving them insight into how event companies operate behind the scenes. The program also emphasises management and entrepreneurship, helping students develop leadership skills and knowledge related to hospitality, e-commerce, and business planning. Practical experience includes a twenty-week internship, preparation for graduation research, and the opportunity to participate in an optional Honours program for additional personal and professional development.
