COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hotel and Event Management program with a specialisation in Luxury Management focuses on preparing students for careers in the high-end hospitality and luxury service industry. The program combines knowledge of luxury hotel operations, event management, and entrepreneurship with a strong focus on professional development and practical experience. Students participate in inspiring masterclasses, international study trips, and internships at well-known companies, which allow them to gain valuable industry exposure. Over the four-year program, students also choose a minor to broaden or deepen their expertise in a specific area of interest. Throughout their studies, students gradually explore the field of luxury management, developing a strong understanding of how high-end hospitality businesses operate. They begin with practical insights into entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry and later work on developing their own concepts and business plans for luxury services. The hotel management component focuses on hospitality practices, service quality, and facility management, helping students understand the daily operations of luxury hotels and resorts. The event management element teaches students how to organise different types of events, ranging from professional conferences to large public gatherings. The program also emphasises leadership, management, and entrepreneurial skills necessary for running successful businesses in the hospitality sector. Students gain practical experience through a twenty-week internship, graduation research preparation, and the opportunity to join an Honours program for additional academic and professional development.
