COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hotel and Event Management program with a specialisation in Entrepreneurship focuses on developing knowledge in hotel management, event management, and business creation within the hospitality and tourism industry. The curriculum combines practical hospitality training with entrepreneurial and management skills. Students also take modules related to professional development and practice-oriented research to strengthen both academic understanding and real-world abilities. During the program, students attend inspiring masterclasses, participate in an international study trip, and complete internships with well-known companies, gaining valuable industry experience. Over the four-year program, students can also choose a minor to broaden or deepen their knowledge in a particular field. Throughout their studies, students gradually develop a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship in the hospitality sector, starting with practical insights into the industry and progressing to creating their own concepts and detailed business plans. The hotel management component focuses on hospitality operations, service quality, food preparation, and facility management. The event management part of the program teaches students how to organise a variety of events, from business conferences to large public gatherings, while also offering behind-the-scenes insights into event companies. The program also emphasises leadership, management, and business planning skills needed to run successful hospitality ventures. Practical experience includes a twenty-week internship, preparation for graduation research, and the option to participate in an Honours program for additional personal and professional development.
