COURSE CURRICULUM

This master’s program is structured to combine rigorous academic training with the flexibility to pursue your own interests. Alongside core courses, you will have the opportunity to select an elective from a wide range of options, enabling you to tailor your studies to your personal and professional goals. It begins with the Literature Seminar (10 EC) and the Research Seminar (10 EC), both designed to familiarise you with key scholarly debates and to develop your ability to critically engage with complex academic texts. The Research Workshop (5 EC) and the Academic Skills and Thesis Seminar (5 EC) focus on sharpening your methodological skills, ensuring that you are well prepared to design and conduct independent research. You will also complete optional courses (10 EC) that allow for specialisation in your areas of interest. The program culminates with the Thesis and Exam (20 EC), where you demonstrate your ability to undertake original research under the close supervision of faculty members.All teaching is conducted by academics who are active researchers in their fields, which ensures that the content of the courses reflects the latest debates, discoveries, and theoretical developments.
