COURSE CURRICULUM

The Media & Creative Industries master’s specialisation for the 2025–2026 full-time program combines theoretical knowledge, research skills, and practical applications to prepare students for careers in the creative economy. In Term 1, students take Management of Media and Creative Industries and Globalization and Media Industries, providing a foundation in how creative organisations operate and adapt to global trends.Across Terms 1 and 2, Methods of Media Research develops essential research skills for analysing media and audience behaviour. In Term 2, the program includes Audience Engagement, which focuses on understanding how audiences interact with media and creative products, alongside optional research workshops for practical application.Term 3 features Marketing Media and Entertainment, where students explore strategies for promoting creative products, supplemented by elective courses that allow further specialisation. Throughout Terms 1 to 4, students complete the Master Thesis, conducting independent research under supervision to integrate theoretical and practical insights.The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to manage, market, and innovate within media and creative industries, preparing them for roles in production, strategy, marketing, audience research, and creative project management.
