COURSE CURRICULUM

The Media & Business master’s specialisation follows a full-time program designed to combine theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and research expertise across the 2025–2026 academic year. In Term 1, students take Media & Business Transformations, a core course exploring the impact of digitalisation and globalisation on media organisations, along with elective options such as Corporate Management with Social Media or Business Strategies & Media Planning.Across Terms 1 and 2, students complete Methods of Media Research, developing essential research skills for analysing media and business trends. In Term 2, the program includes Engaging Consumers: Strategic Practices and Frameworks, which focuses on understanding and influencing consumer behaviour through strategic frameworks. Students also have the opportunity to participate in research workshops or elective seminars to deepen their practical knowledge.Term 3 features the Consulting Challenge, a hands-on project that allows students to apply their insights to real-world business problems, working closely with organisations to develop actionable strategies. Throughout Terms 1 to 4, students complete their Master Thesis, conducting independent research under supervision to integrate theoretical and practical learning.The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the ability to navigate and manage media and business transformations, combining strategic, analytical, and research competencies to prepare them for dynamic careers in media management, consultancy, and strategic roles within diverse industries.
