COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Robotics program at TU Delft provides a multidisciplinary education designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to develop intelligent, innovative, and socially responsible robotic systems. In today’s world, knowledge of algorithms alone is insufficient; a Robotics Engineer must also understand mechanical engineering principles to manage movements and forces, and integrate ethical considerations to assess the societal impact of robotic technologies.The program emphasizes the interaction between humans and machines, giving students a broad foundation across artificial intelligence, embedded systems, control, human-machine systems, ethics, and security. Students learn to model, design, and control robotic systems while analyzing, evaluating, and validating their performance in complex and dynamic environments. This holistic approach ensures graduates can develop robotic solutions that are technically robust and aligned with societal needs, balancing innovation with ethical responsibility.Robotics Engineers trained in this program are prepared to lead the further robotisation of society.
