COURSE CURRICULUM

The Management of Technology (MOT) program at TU Delft prepares students to become skilled technology managers, market analysts, and entrepreneurs operating in technology-driven, internationally oriented, and competitive environments across various industrial sectors. The program equips students to address complex questions that many technology-intensive companies face, such as identifying the technologies they need and the optimal timing for their deployment, deciding whether to develop technology in-house, collaborate with external partners, or acquire it through licensing, and leveraging technological opportunities to advance organizational objectives and strategies. Graduates gain the expertise to analyse technologies and assess their commercial impact, translating technical possibilities into actionable strategies within the organizational context. This includes understanding both internal and external dynamics, such as the technological capabilities of their own company, collaboration opportunities with business partners, and evolving economic and social trends that shape technological development and market demand.
