COURSE CURRICULUM

This program is structured around a set of modules designed to build strong business, management, and sector-specific expertise in tourism, events, and hospitality. At EQF/MQF Level 5, students develop core business and management knowledge through modules such as principles of business management, management accounting and finance, human resources management, and strategic management, providing a solid foundation in organisational and financial decision-making. As students progress to Level 6, the focus shifts toward specialised and applied learning tailored to the tourism and events industries. Modules such as consumer behaviour, the travel and tourism business, digital marketing in tourism, events, and hospitality, and entrepreneurship in the sector help students understand market dynamics, customer expectations, and innovation within a global context. Research methods equip students with analytical and academic skills required to investigate industry-related issues and support evidence-based decision-making. Events and project management develops practical competencies in planning, organising, and delivering events and projects effectively, including time, cost, and resource management. The program culminates in a major project at Level 6, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge and research skills to a substantial, independent piece of work focused on a real-world business or industry problem. Overall, the curriculum offers a balanced combination of theory, practice, and research, preparing graduates for professional roles or further study in business, tourism, events, and hospitality.
