COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA in Design Innovation and Management is a two-year postgraduate program that combines creativity, technology, and strategic management to prepare students for leadership roles in the design industry. In the first year, students study the history and criticism of contemporary design to understand its evolution and cultural significance. Science and technology of materials provides knowledge about material properties and their applications in modern design. Project communication techniques and communication design develop skills in presenting and managing design ideas effectively. Design management focuses on planning and coordinating creative projects, while computer-aided design (CAD) trains students in digital modeling and visualization. Product design builds core skills in developing innovative and functional products. Brand communication and professional English enhance students’ ability to communicate in global professional contexts, and elective activities allow for additional specialization. In the second year, students explore sociology and anthropology of design to understand social and cultural influences on design practices. Innovative technologies and materials expand knowledge of emerging tools and sustainable solutions. Art direction develops creative leadership and visual storytelling skills, while marketing focuses on strategic promotion and market understanding. Advanced product design and rendering strengthen conceptual and technical abilities. The program also includes an R&D internship for practical experience and a thesis for academic research. Overall, it prepares graduates for careers in product design, innovation management, and creative leadership.
