COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA in Communication Design is a structured two-year program focused on developing advanced skills in visual communication, digital media, and creative storytelling. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through subjects such as communication history and culture, which explores the evolution of media and visual expression. Design rendering and communication develops technical drawing and visual representation skills, while business English enhances professional communication abilities. Image phenomenology introduces the study of how images are perceived and interpreted, and multimedia information technologies provide hands-on training in digital tools and platforms. Core subjects such as communication skills and techniques, communication design, and graphic design help students develop expertise in visual storytelling, branding, and design principles. Free study activities allow independent exploration and creative development. In the second year, students deepen their knowledge through graphics and design cultural studies and sociology and anthropology of communication, which examine the cultural and social dimensions of media. Art direction and multimedia design focus on advanced creative production and campaign development. Communication strategies train students in planning and executing integrated media campaigns. The program also includes an internship for professional experience and a dissertation for academic research. Overall, the course prepares graduates for careers in art direction, graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and strategic communication within the global creative and media industries.
