COURSE CURRICULUM

This program offers a balanced combination of theoretical study, technical training, and professional practice in product design. In the first semester, students build a strong foundation through History and Criticism of Contemporary Design, which provides cultural and historical context for design evolution. Design Methods introduces structured approaches to creative problem-solving, while Communication Tools and Techniques and Techniques of Design Communication strengthen the ability to express and present ideas effectively. Production Technologies and Computer Aided Design (CAD) develop essential technical skills for transforming concepts into precise digital models and manufacturable designs. The second semester shifts towards applied and advanced learning, starting with Product Design as a central module where students develop complete design projects. Graphic Design and Product Communication enhance visual and strategic communication skills, ensuring products are effectively presented in professional contexts. Sociology and Anthropology of Design encourages understanding of user behaviour and cultural influences, while Rendering improves the ability to visually represent ideas with realism and clarity. Innovative Technologies and Materials introduces new materials and technological developments relevant to contemporary product design. The program concludes with an Internship, providing real-world industry experience, and a Dissertation, where students demonstrate independent research and design capability, integrating all acquired knowledge into a final academic and professional project.
