History of fashion provides insight into the evolution of fashion trends, styles, and consumer preferences over time. Fashion product development from conception to consumer teaches the complete lifecycle of a fashion product, from initial concept and design to production and final sale. Fashion trend forecasting helps students identify upcoming trends and market opportunities, while management of enterprise performance focuses on strategic planning, performance analysis, and business growth. Fashion design strengthens creative understanding and helps students align product selection with brand identity and market demand. In the second semester, students explore corporate organization to understand business structures and operational management within fashion companies. Sociology, anthropology, and psychology of fashion provide insights into consumer behavior, social influences, and purchasing decisions. Communication theory helps students understand branding, messaging, and effective communication strategies in retail and merchandising. Organization skills and enterprise performance management further develop expertise in financial planning, decision-making, and business strategy. The program also includes an internship for real-world industry experience and a dissertation for academic and professional research, preparing graduates for successful careers in buying and merchandising.
