COURSE CURRICULUM

This program provides a structured foundation in design, communication, and management, combining theoretical understanding with practical application. In the first semester, students are introduced to core subjects such as Brand Communication, Marketing, Corporate Identity, and Economics and Business Management, which build a strong understanding of how design functions within commercial and organisational contexts. History and Criticism of Contemporary Design offers cultural and theoretical insight, while Project Management develops essential planning and organisational skills. Art Direction 1 and Techniques of Visual Communication focus on creative expression and visual storytelling, supported by Communication Tools and Techniques for effective presentation of ideas. In the second semester, learning becomes more applied and project-oriented. Students develop Communication Skills and Techniques alongside advanced Art Direction 2, strengthening their creative direction capabilities. Design Management and Communication Strategies introduce strategic planning within design and branding contexts, while Digital Video, Multimedia, and Graphic Design enhance technical and digital production skills. The program also explores how design communicates across different media platforms and audiences. A compulsory Internship provides real-world industry experience, allowing students to apply their knowledge in professional settings. The course concludes with a Dissertation, where students demonstrate independent research and critical thinking, integrating design, communication, and management skills into a comprehensive final project.
