COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) in Fragrances and Cosmetics Product and Communication offers a comprehensive three-year curriculum designed to combine creativity, product development, communication, and business strategy within the beauty and fashion industries. In the first year, students build a strong foundation by studying fashion trends history, social anthropology, and materials science and technology. They also explore product design, fashion trend forecasting, and collection development, along with the history of photography, photographic techniques, brand communication, and foreign language studies. Students learn communication design, sociology, anthropology, and psychology of fashion, marketing, product communication, integrated product design, and fashion project communication. They also study break-even analysis to understand financial planning and business profitability. In the third year, students refine their professional and managerial expertise through subjects such as packaging design, advanced product design, design management, and fashion product development from concept to consumer. They also explore innovative processes and technologies shaping the future of the beauty and fashion sectors. The final year includes an internship and dissertation, providing practical industry experience and academic research opportunities.
