COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) in Fashion Management, Digital Communication and Media offers a structured three-year curriculum that combines creativity, communication, and business knowledge. In the first year, students build a strong foundation by studying the history of applied arts, sociology, anthropology, and psychology of fashion to understand the cultural and social aspects of the industry. They also learn materials science, basic design, fashion design, image digital processing, visual communication techniques, and business English, while participating in independent study activities. In the second year, the program focuses on developing communication and strategic planning skills. Students explore the history and criticism of contemporary fashion, communication science, production processes, and fashion product development from concept to consumer. They also study multimedia planning, design for publishing, communication strategies, and fashion business organization, gaining knowledge in both digital and traditional media. In the third year, students refine their professional and creative expertise through subjects such as image semiotics, product design, art direction, multimedia design, corporate communication, and brand communication. The final year also includes an internship and dissertation, providing practical experience and academic research opportunities. Overall, the program prepares graduates for careers in digital marketing, media planning, brand communication, and creative direction within the global fashion and luxury industries.
