COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Toxicology is a one-year, full-time program that provides students with both a strong theoretical foundation and extensive practical experience in the study of poisons and their effects on biological systems. The curriculum is designed to cover a wide breadth of topics within Toxicology while emphasising real-world applications and experimental skills. Students begin with fundamental concepts in Pharmacology and Toxicology, gaining essential knowledge of how chemical agents interact with the body. The program also focuses on experimental and research skills through modules such as Experimental Methods in Pharmacology, Experimental Toxicology, and a dedicated Research Project in Toxicology, enabling students to design, conduct, and interpret experiments effectively. Advanced topics are addressed in modules like Current Topics in Toxicology and Advanced Toxicology, which explore contemporary issues, regulatory considerations, and emerging challenges in the field.
