The Curriculum Information displayed here is automatically synced from AKARI and reflects the current academic year’s curriculum. The next scheduled update will occur in August or September 2025, when the new academic year information is rolled over in AKARI. It is important to note that the information currently appearing on course pages comes from what was submitted to AKARI by the April 2024 deadline and will carry over to the new template. Any updates made during the year in Quercus are fed into Blackboard but not into AKARI, so they will not appear on the website course pages. Manual updates to the synced curriculum information are not possible. If you notice that the AKARI Curriculum Information is not showing on your course page, you should inform the administration so the sync can be reactivated. For some courses, the AKARI feed may not be suitable for display due to complex course structures. In these cases, detailed course information will be provided in the “What will I study?” section. Eventually, the AKARI system will be replaced with CourseLeaf content for more seamless updates. This ensures that students have access to accurate, standardised curriculum information, while also highlighting the distinction between information managed through AKARI and updates made through other platforms.
