COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum for the MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis is structured over one academic year and requires students to complete 60 credits through a series of core modules. Students must earn the required number of ECTS credits by successfully completing all designated modules, each of which represents an examinable component of the program involving lectures, tutorials, practical work, and assignments.In Semester 1, students complete three foundational modules that establish the theoretical and ethical framework of professional practice. Ethics in Behaviour Analysis develops a strong understanding of professional standards, ethical decision-making, and responsible practice. Behaviour Assessment focuses on systematic methods for identifying, measuring, and analysing behaviour to inform evidence-based intervention planning. Principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis provides a comprehensive grounding in the core concepts, theories, and scientific foundations underpinning ABA practice.In Semester 2, the focus shifts toward application, research competence, and clinical skill development. Clinical Practice I offers supervised practical experience, allowing students to apply behavioural principles in real-world settings while developing professional competence. Research Methods and Design equips students with the skills to critically evaluate research literature, design studies, and apply scientific reasoning to practice. Behaviour Change Procedures concentrates on the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions aimed at producing meaningful and socially significant behavioural improvements.Together, these modules integrate ethical awareness, scientific knowledge, clinical application, and research skills. The structured progression from foundational theory to applied practice ensures that graduates are well prepared to deliver ethical, data-driven, and effective behavioural interventions across diverse professional settings.
