Journalism Bootcamp (DJ6115) provides intensive practical training in reporting, writing, interviewing, and newsroom production. Multimedia Newsdays (DJ6112) simulates real newsroom environments where students produce content across print, broadcast, and digital platforms under deadline pressure. Researching the Media (DJ6122) develops analytical and research skills essential for in-depth reporting and academic inquiry. Media Law (DJ6143) introduces legal principles governing journalism, including defamation, privacy, and court reporting. Employability and Career Skills (DJ6130) prepares students for professional practice through portfolio development, industry engagement, and career planning.Students enhance their expertise through optional modules aligned with their interests. These include Reporting Economics and Politics (DJ6135), Introduction to Investigative Reporting (DJ6151), Communicating Climate Action and Science (DJ6144), Data Analysis and Visualisation (DJ6157), and the Final Project for Journalism, Media and Communication (DJ6124).
