COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured across core and optional modules designed to build comprehensive expertise in business analytics. In Stage 1, students complete core modules across the Autumn and Spring trimesters, each worth 7.5 credits. Autumn modules include Programming for Analytics, Statistical Methods, Introduction to Business Analytics, and Optimisation in Business, which establish strong foundations in coding, quantitative analysis, and mathematical modelling. In the Spring trimester, students study Business Decision Support Systems, Technology Consulting, Decision and Behavioural Analytics, and Managing Data and AI, focusing on strategic decision-making, behavioural insights, and the management of data-driven technologies. For the Summer trimester, students complete 30 credits through flexible options. They may choose either two 7.5-credit option modules alongside a 15-credit Capstone project, or four 7.5-credit option modules. Available options include Hot Topics in Analytics, Statistical Learning, Sports and Performance Analytics, and Problem Solving with Heuristics. The Capstone project provides an opportunity to apply analytical knowledge to a substantial practical or research-based challenge. Overall, the structure ensures a balanced blend of technical depth, applied learning, and specialised exploration within the field of business analytics.
