COURSE CURRICULUM

This program provides a comprehensive and future-oriented education designed to prepare students for successful careers in accounting and finance. The curriculum integrates traditional financial and managerial accounting with emerging areas such as sustainability, business analytics, and financial technologies. In the autumn trimester, students complete core modules in financial and ESG reporting, management and environmental accounting, strategic corporate finance, and strategic management. These modules develop a strong foundation in accounting principles, corporate strategy, and sustainable business practices. In the spring trimester, students progress to modules in accounting for performance and control, financial risk management, law and governance, and accounting and business analytics, equipping them with essential skills in risk analysis, legal compliance, and data-driven decision-making. The program also offers flexibility through a range of summer trimester electives, where students choose four modules from advanced financial reporting, artificial intelligence and machine learning in accounting, sustainability reporting and analysis, financial data technology, taxation, auditing and assurance, and managing performance. These options allow students to tailor their studies toward careers in professional accountancy, finance, or sustainable business. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking, technological fluency, and ethical responsibility, graduates are well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to the dynamic global business environment.
