COURSE CURRICULUM

The M.Sc. in Human Resource Management is a one-year, 90-ECTS postgraduate program delivered at Trinity College Dublin, combining 60 ECTS of taught modules with a 30 ECTS research dissertation. The course is designed to build advanced knowledge and practical understanding of human resource management, preparing students for leadership roles in organisations. The taught component consists of 12 core modules that explore key areas such as strategic HRM, employment law and ethics, international HRM, digitalisation and HR analytics, talent acquisition and resourcing, performance and rewards management, learning and organisational development, managing employment relations, work design and health, and business leadership skills including coaching. Students also study research methods in HRM to support evidence-based practice. The dissertation provides an opportunity to apply theoretical and practical knowledge to a specialised area of interest, allowing students to demonstrate independent research skills and deepen their expertise. Delivered within a leading business school environment, the program combines academic theory with applied learning and is supported by strong links to industry and alumni networks.
