COURSE CURRICULUM

The one-year full-time MSc in Accounting and Analytics is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in both accounting and data analytics. The program consists of ten core modules that cover a comprehensive range of accounting topics while integrating key elements of business analytics. These core modules include Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Foundations of Business Analytics, Company Law, Financial Management, Taxation, Audit, and Corporate Governance and Ethics. Together, they provide students with a strong grounding in the essential areas of professional accounting, as well as the analytical tools necessary to navigate the data-driven financial landscape.A major feature of the program is the Analytics for Accounting Capstone module, which takes place in the final semester and carries 30 ECTS. This applied research project is delivered in collaboration with Deloitte and offers students the opportunity to engage with real-world accounting problems. Through this capstone, students apply advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation techniques to solve practical business challenges. The module culminates in the production of an executive report, reflecting the integration of technical and analytical skills in a professional setting. This hands-on experience not only reinforces theoretical learning but also prepares students for careers in modern finance and professional services, where data literacy and analytical thinking are increasingly vital. The program's balanced focus on accounting fundamentals and applied analytics ensures that graduates are well-positioned to meet the growing demands of the financial sector, with the ability to deliver insights, improve processes, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a technology-driven business environment.
