COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Sustainable Supply Chain and Logistics is structured to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills for managing modern, technology-driven, and sustainability-focused global supply chains. In the first semester, students build core foundations in supply chain and operations management, global procurement strategies, supply chain finance, and research methods. These modules develop an understanding of how organisations design, manage, and finance efficient and responsible supply networks while considering sustainability, risk, and corporate responsibility. The second semester focuses on more advanced and applied areas, including supply chain technology, global logistics and transport management, leadership, and supply chain analytics. Students explore how digital technologies such as AI, predictive analytics, and digital twins are transforming logistics, improving decision-making, enhancing efficiency, and supporting decarbonisation and resilience in global systems. Leadership development is also emphasised, alongside analytical and data visualisation skills to support sustainable and ethical decision-making. The final semester consists of a major applied research project, where students investigate real-world challenges such as sustainable sourcing, circular economy practices, logistics decarbonisation, and digital transformation in supply chains. This capstone allows students to integrate theoretical and practical learning, demonstrate advanced research capability, and produce evidence-based recommendations. Overall, the program prepares graduates for leadership roles in sustainable, data-driven, and globally connected supply chain and logistics environments.
