COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Software Design with Cybersecurity is structured to provide students with a strong foundation in secure software development, network protection, and enterprise-level security management. In the first stage of the program, students study object-oriented programming, research methods, and professional practice to build core technical and analytical skills while also developing an understanding of ethical and structured approaches to problem-solving in computing. As the program progresses, learners focus on specialised cybersecurity areas such as network security, security in the enterprise, computer and cloud security, and applied cryptography. In the final stage, students can choose between completing a research dissertation or undertaking an industry-based work placement, offering either an academic or professional pathway.
