COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Artificial Intelligence for Business provides students with advanced technical, analytical, and research skills focused on applying AI technologies in business environments. In the first trimester, students study mathematics for artificial intelligence, gaining knowledge in linear algebra, probability, statistics, data analysis, and visualisation. They also explore real-world business AI case studies to understand how organisations implement intelligent solutions across industries. Fundamentals of machine learning introduces classification, regression, predictive modelling, data preprocessing, and model evaluation, while data engineering focuses on handling structured and unstructured data such as text, images, and social media content. In the second trimester, students study data mining and business intelligence, learning techniques such as clustering, recommender systems, association rule mining, and forecasting for business insights and decision-making. Deep learning expands knowledge into neural networks and modern generative AI technologies. Students also examine the legal, ethical, and social implications of AI, including responsible and ethical use of intelligent systems, while research methods prepares them for independent academic and applied research. In the final trimester, students complete a substantial applied research project and dissertation, allowing them to apply AI models and analytical methods to real business challenges. The program develops programming, research, communication, and problem-solving skills while preparing graduates for careers in AI, business intelligence, analytics, and digital transformation.
