COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Innovation and Sustainable Business Strategy develops graduates capable of leading organisational change, innovation, and sustainability-driven transformation in modern business environments. In the first semester, students focus on leading strategic change, strategic marketing management, and applied innovation, building an understanding of how organisations manage transformation, develop customer-focused strategies, and apply creative and design thinking to real-world business challenges. The second semester expands into business model development, strategic information management and digital strategy, and business strategy for a sustainable world, where learners explore how organisations create value, use digital technologies for decision-making, and align strategies with sustainability frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and ESG principles. Across both semesters, students engage with applied case studies and external partners to connect theory with practice. Alongside taught modules, year-long components support personal and professional development, research methods training, and a major independent research project. The research project involves an in-depth 18,000-word dissertation on a topic related to strategy, innovation, sustainability, or leadership, allowing students to demonstrate advanced analytical and critical thinking skills. Overall, the program prepares graduates to lead responsibly, manage complex change, and design innovative, sustainable business solutions in diverse organisational settings.
