COURSE CURRICULUM

Computer Engineering with Network Infrastructure – BSc (Hons) is a four-year program focused on developing expertise in networking, cloud systems, cybersecurity, programming, and modern digital infrastructure. In the first year, students build core foundations in network architecture, computer systems, electronics, mathematics, software development, and telecommunications, supported by hands-on labs and communication skills training. The second year advances into topics such as cybersecurity, Linux system administration, network design, wireless systems, embedded connected devices, engineering economics, and advanced mathematics, with strong emphasis on practical configuration of routers, servers, and network services. In the third year, students specialise further through modules in network security, automation, mobile networks, discrete mathematics, scripting, and data communication, alongside a professional industry placement to gain real-world ICT experience. The final year focuses on advanced networking and emerging technologies including cloud infrastructure, enhanced networks, database systems, augmented user interaction, and AI-related scripting applications. Students also complete a major year-long project and network infrastructure project, applying theoretical knowledge to complex real-world systems. Throughout the program, learners develop strong practical and analytical skills through laboratory work, simulations, and industry tools. The course prepares graduates for careers in network engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT systems, and IT infrastructure management, with a strong focus on employability, innovation, and modern enterprise networking solutions.
