COURSE CURRICULUM

Computer Engineering with Network Infrastructure BSc builds strong foundations in computing, networking, electronics, mathematics, and software development, with a clear focus on modern ICT systems and the Internet of Things. In the first year, students study core subjects such as network infrastructure, computer systems, electronics, mathematics, communication skills, and Java programming, supported by hands-on labs in networking devices, circuits, and basic software design. The second year develops more advanced skills including cybersecurity, Linux system administration, wireless communication, embedded and connected devices, network design, calculus, probability, and engineering economics, alongside practical experience in configuring routers, switches, servers, and wireless systems. Students also explore cloud and sensor-based systems through IoT-focused projects. In the third year, the program shifts toward advanced networking topics such as network security, automation, mobile networks, scripting with Python, discrete mathematics, and large-scale system design. Students also learn placement preparation skills before completing a compulsory industry placement in an ICT environment. This placement provides real-world experience in networking, systems administration, and security. Across all years, the program combines theory with extensive practical work using industry tools and simulations, preparing graduates for careers in network engineering, cybersecurity, systems administration, and IoT development, with strong emphasis on problem-solving, system design, and applied technical skills.
