COURSE CURRICULUM

Business with Fashion Management (BBus Hons) is a four-year program that combines core business education with specialist fashion industry knowledge to prepare students for careers in a global, fast-evolving sector. The course develops skills in marketing, management, finance, economics, law, digital business, supply chain management, merchandising, visual styling and fashion design, alongside strong academic and analytical abilities. In the early stages, students study foundations such as management and marketing principles, financial accounting, business technology, fashion history, textiles, styling, web design and visual merchandising. As the program progresses, they explore areas such as fashion buying, range planning, social media marketing, HRM, legal frameworks, supply chain systems, and consumer behaviour, gaining a strong understanding of how fashion businesses operate. Practical learning is central, with applied modules in event planning, merchandising projects, live industry challenges, and work-based learning experiences. In later years, students focus on entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, financial analysis, sustainability in fashion, brand management and global fashion trends, while also completing a major research thesis. A work placement or study abroad opportunity further strengthens industry experience and employability. Graduates are prepared for roles in fashion retail, brand management, buying, merchandising, marketing, styling and entrepreneurship. The program also develops creativity, sustainability awareness, digital competence and strategic thinking, enabling students to adapt to future changes in the international fashion industry.
