COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business program provides students with a broad understanding of modern business practices while developing the practical, analytical and professional skills required for a successful career in industry. In first year, students build strong foundations in financial accounting, business communication, management, human resource management, marketing, mathematics, statistics and information technology. Learners also gain insight into organisational behaviour, investments and data analysis. In second year, the course expands into areas such as business law, cost and management accounting, operations management, economics, project management, digital selling, sales management and intellectual property law, helping students understand how businesses operate in competitive and technology-driven environments. Students also develop practical decision-making, leadership and problem-solving abilities relevant to modern organisations. Third year focuses on advanced topics including customer relationship management, enterprise development, enterprise resource planning, global HRM, financial innovation and data analytics, while also supporting students’ career development and entrepreneurial skills. A major element of the program is the work placement or study abroad opportunity, where students apply their academic learning in a real-world setting and develop valuable workplace competencies such as communication, teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking and self-management. Students who do not complete placement can instead undertake a business problem-solving module focused on real industry challenges and practical business solutions.
