COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Studies with Beauty and Spa Management program combines professional beauty and spa training with strong business and management education, preparing students for successful careers in the beauty, wellness, and spa industry. Throughout the course, students develop practical expertise in skincare, waxing, make-up application, manicure and pedicure treatments, nail technology, Swedish massage, Indian head massage, hot stone massage, and therapeutic spa practices. Alongside technical beauty skills, students gain essential knowledge in anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care, and professional salon operations. The program also focuses heavily on business development through modules in accounting, management, marketing, human resource management, business law, social media marketing, web design, customer communication, and project management. Learners build strong interpersonal, leadership, and client relationship skills while also learning how to market and manage beauty and wellness businesses effectively in a modern digital environment. Practical learning and client engagement are central to the course, helping students integrate theory with real-world experience. In the final year, students undertake applied therapeutic practice and gain valuable industry exposure through a full semester work placement or study abroad opportunity. Graduates are equipped with the technical expertise, business knowledge, and professional confidence needed for careers in beauty salons, spas, wellness centres, cosmetic businesses, and management roles both nationally and internationally.
