COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc in Creative Computing is a three-year program designed to equip students with a unique blend of computing and creative media skills, preparing them for dynamic careers in digital and technology-driven industries. In Year 1, students develop a strong foundation in communication, computer systems, creative programming, graphic design, digital imaging, mathematics, user experience design, website development, creative media, and pipeline design concepts, ensuring a balance of technical and creative problem-solving abilities. Year 2 builds on this foundation with advanced modules in 2D animation, 3D modelling, audio and video production, graphic design, web and app development, database systems, professional practice, mathematics for graphics, and web design, allowing students to integrate creative media skills with computing knowledge. In Year 3, students focus on applied learning and professional experience, with opportunities to complete industrial placements, study abroad, professional certifications, or voluntary projects. They also engage in advanced modules including 3D animation practice, digital graphic design, multimedia networks, software engineering, NoSQL databases, and web application development. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, with students using industry-standard tools and technologies to complete real-world projects that mirror professional practice. Throughout the course, learners develop critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and teamwork skills, preparing them to work effectively in collaborative environments.
