COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc in Bioscience with Biopharmaceutical Science is a four-year honours degree designed to give students a strong foundation in biological sciences while preparing them for careers in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, and related industries. The program combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practical laboratory experience to ensure graduates are both scientifically competent and industry-ready.In the first year, students study the fundamentals of biology, chemistry, physics, and quantitative methods, along with laboratory science and current scientific concepts. This year strengthens both theoretical understanding and hands-on competence in core bioscience areas.In the third year, students progress to advanced topics including molecular biology and immunology, food microbiology, biochemistry, and microbial cell factories. Modules in manufacturing, quality management, experimental design, and data analysis prepare students for professional scientific work, while the bioscience project and workplace planning module allows students to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting.
