COURSE CURRICULUM

In Year 1, all modules are mandatory, ensuring students develop core knowledge and essential skills across key business disciplines. Semester 1 includes Business Financial Accounting 1, Communications and Academic Writing, Microeconomics, IT for Business 1, An Introduction to Management Theory, and Quantitative Techniques 1. In Semester 2, students progress to Business Financial Accounting 2, Data Analysis for Business 1, Macroeconomics, Management in Action, Business Psychology 1, and Quantitative Techniques 2. This year focuses on building competence in accounting, economics, management, IT, data analysis, communication, and quantitative methods.Year 2 continues with a strong mandatory core while introducing elective choices. In Semester 3, mandatory modules include Business Cost Accounting, Data Analysis for Business 2, Business Law 1, Human Resource Management 1, and Introduction to Marketing. Students also choose electives such as Business Psychology 2, Intermediate Financial Accounting 1, or IT for Business 2. In Semester 4, mandatory modules include Business Management Accounting, Macroeconomy of Ireland, Business Law 2, Supply Chain Management, and Contemporary Marketing Practice. Elective options include Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 and Human Resource Management 2.
