COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Robotics and Intelligent Devices program is structured to gradually build technical knowledge and practical skills over several years. In first year, students study a broad range of foundational modules including mathematics, physics, programming, electronic fundamentals, and project work, which provide the essential background for understanding modern engineering systems. In second and third year, students develop a deeper and more specialised understanding of robotics and intelligent devices, learning how to design, analyse, and implement systems that combine hardware and software. During this stage, they also gain practical experience through hands on projects and may complete a work placement, subject to availability, or take part in a design challenge in third year. Students are encouraged to participate in robotics competitions and other challenges, helping them apply their skills in real world and competitive environments while building a strong portfolio. In the final year, students focus on large thematic projects, choosing between robotics or intelligent devices based on their interests. These projects allow them to apply their knowledge to complex problems and demonstrate their technical and problem solving abilities. Overall, the program prepares students for careers in advanced technology and engineering fields.
